One of my favourite pictures to date!
This pretty village Is located on the eastern side of Falmouth harbour at the end of the ‘Roseland Peninsula’. It’s definitely renowned for its stunning coastal scenery and idyllic landscapes. The location is simply a nature lovers dream.
Taken in the middle of winter, you can invision the incredible landscape and colours St Mawes transforms into and possesses.
St Mawes castle guards the harbour, it’s a very well preserved fortress to the once busy fishing port. One of the most preserved Henry VIII’s coastal fortresses!
There is so much unspoilt nature available to the eye in St Mawes, evident in the picture. It’s filled with bakery’s, seafood restaurants with the finest flavours and blissful beaches.
Todays blog is a little shorter than what I did on Portmellon and Mevagissey. Truth be told i thought I’d remember it a little better…. Nevertheless I remember the feeling I got walking down these steps, bliss! Even more reason to go back!
