Mevagissey Moments…

This is one of the most picture perfect, yet still authentic, fishing villages located on the south coast of Cornwall.

Named after two Irish saints:

* St Meva and St Issey.

The village dates back to at least the 14th century, before its now name it was once called ‘ Porthhilly’.

This attractive harbourside village consists of narrow streets with various places to eat, drink and shop.

Accompanied by an inner and outer harbour , it makes it a picture perfect place to visit with the steady flow of tourist boats and fishing trips in the summer season, trips can be taken to the nearby port of Fowey.

With its pretty, pastel cottages sat on the hillside, streets dotted with charismatic pubs and cafes with stunning surroundings it’s without a doubt a harbour with home to just about everything.

It’s definitely Cornwall at its best and most enchanting.

(Also home to an aquarium aswell as everything else, full of all kinds of sea creatures no entry fee, just a donation is appreciated)
